Tapping into one’s power through the arts and movement is sacred practice. The major arcane of the tarot contains many well known archetypes. The order of the archetypes follows the "fool’s journey" or "hero's quest" in mythology.

This workshop aims at deepening your understanding of the unconscious elements which are at work in your own life. A knowledge which will empower you to create conscious desirable changes.

Dance of the Sacred Prostitute

We live in a time when sex is prostituted to sell us anything at all; it is also a time when the awareness of spirituality is ever growing and encouraged. The two seem to be so separatefrom one another that they are often seen as the opposites of each other, the effect of which is experienced as a split that ultimately blocks creativity on any level. Is there a way the two can meet? Can sexuality and spirituality merge to create a new spark of life?

The Sacred Prostitute workshop is made up of belly dance exercises led by Galit Mersand, in a fun and (typically to Galit) cheeky manner, together with some introspective and creative exercises including guided meditation and drawing led by Lillie Naor in a safe and (typically to Lillie) insightful way. But don’t worry you don’t need to be an ‘Artist’ or a ‘Belly Dancer’ to take part.

This workshop is designed for it’s participants to move and be moved, to touch a sleeping part of themselves and be touched by something bigger than themselves. But most of all this workshop aims to bring together 2 ‘estranged’ parts of the SELF to create an even more fulfilling life.
